What is MIME?
MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) is used when sending messages
that support extended 8-bit characters (IS0
8859-1, Swedish, Norwegian, US ASCII) with or without embedded objects
or inserted files. The structure of the attachments is maintained if the
recipient of the message is also using MIME. |
